And when we look for products to buy, we need more information, like how the product fulfills our needs, and the part that I’m getting to: what other people think of that specific product—aka the reviews.
The Favor-03 from Real Relax is absolutely adorned in terms of reviews on Amazon, with a whopping 4,000+ reviews at the time of writing with a rating of 4.3 stars. It is very clearly a great seller and widely enjoyed by many people considering that on average about 1 in 10 people will leave a review on a product. So clearly, it has many supporters since it has a decently great rating, and is definitely one of the favorite chairs to buy on Amazon. But what makes it so desired?
One of our experts recall seeing this chair back when it was first introduced in 2017, with a very low price tag of about 700 USD. Simply put, it was a massage chair that seemed too good to be true—a low price tag of less than 1,000 while it could still massage your back. It had many functions a massage chair could have like reclining, fixed point massagers, and heating. Now, many people loved that a massage chair was so accessible compared to its competition. If it could massage your back, AND was a cheap model, most people bought themselves a model.

Now this was back then. In the present, things have changed about the model. The Favor-03 has undergone a lot of changes, specifically for its design. It now contains an S-track, allowing it to move along the neck and back—an innovation that makes massage chairs far superior to fixed point massage chairs. But in exchange for this, the price has shot up to nearly $1,200.
Don’t take this the wrong way—we think that the Favor-03 is a great massage chair model. It has genuinely helped bridge the gap for more people to have access to a personal massage chair. However, due to recent innovations for massage chairs, the features the Favor-03 has are being eclipsed, and outshone by other bells and whistles the market is developing. With costs being reduced and affordable chairs with more features are being made each year, it seems like the Favor-03 is falling behind. But that still doesn’t stop it from being one of the best cheap massage chairs on the market as of right now. But of course, we have to iterate and emphasize that this is our opinion, and that we encourage you to do your research and formulate your own. Maybe you’ll come to the same opinion, or not.
